Tram to the Port for curry

Looking back on these, what an excellent day, and this was just the beginning of the end of it.

Collecting balls

Now I know why Agu's T shirts have grown a size when he gets back from tennis!

I caught six Scots at Café Paris this morning. And then another chance blipmeet with blindasabat during a wee stroll around the Port of Soller with Scobes and Owen.

A quick walk up the road before Ben got back to appreciate Agu's new haircut. We found Suc's long lost brother/sister (identical anyway), an apparently impaled dog and an old car. A view of the Coll de Soller too. Oh, and me in the pink.

Mists and mellow fruitfulness

I had a long, slow walk up to Biniaraitx and back down the Fornalutx road this morning. There was a slight mist blowing down from the bank of cloud that hovered over the mountain on my way up and the sun warmed me on the way down. A very, very quiet time.

Finally, a trip to the mountains and a view of Cuber at the end of the summer. The reservoir is looking comfortably full, and we (well Palma who receives the water) should be alright for next year, presuming the rains will come as expected. Donkeys, goats and sheep were all in evidence, as were several black vultures circling high above us. Magnificent. This time of year brings out a few locals, but mostly an odd mixture of nationalities. Russian, English, American, Mallorquin and I think Moroccan. The donkey learned a few words as he was fed a huge meal to last him over the winter. I nearly learned some Arabic, but the only word repeated was that for 'silly' as fingers got a little close to being nibbled.

Back after a short interlude

And thankfully remembered my password to get back in. This is the sort of help I really need around the place. Puh.
