Finally, a trip to the mountains and a view of Cuber at the end of the summer. The reservoir is looking comfortably full, and we (well Palma who receives the water) should be alright for next year, presuming the rains will come as expected. Donkeys, goats and sheep were all in evidence, as were several black vultures circling high above us. Magnificent. This time of year brings out a few locals, but mostly an odd mixture of nationalities. Russian, English, American, Mallorquin and I think Moroccan. The donkey learned a few words as he was fed a huge meal to last him over the winter. I nearly learned some Arabic, but the only word repeated was that for 'silly' as fingers got a little close to being nibbled.
